Commitment to the Environment

At anniecatherine we believe that it is our responsibility to do all we can to preserve our environment. Because of this commitment, we use paper with as much recycled content as possible for all of our paper products. Recently, we began working with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) who ensures that the paper we use has been harvested from forests in a sustainable manner. In addition, we use shredded office paper as additional packing material.

Commitment to our Community

Our true success as a company is built on the idea that it is our duty to support the local and world community. We currently donate approximately 5% of our profits to local charities through product donations in order to assist them with their fundraising efforts. In addition, we support our local community by printing all of our products in Maine and New England. Thus we are sure that these workers are paid a living wage and work in a healthy, safe environment - with the added bonus of limiting our carbon footprint by printing close by.

Ubuntu

Ubuntu is an African word which, loosely translated means: " I AM because WE ARE." Whatever we do as a company and as people affects other people. Likewise, we are affected by our customers, both personally and professionally. It is always is in our best interest to do what is in the best interest of all; whether it is supporting local business, preserving the environment, or just presenting the best possible products that we can.

Creativity is our highest calling

Creativity fuels our passions, energizes us, and keeps us excited about what we are doing every single day. Because it is such an important component of what we do, we feel strongly that we must always create products that we believe in and that represent our best work. We will never print something simply because we think it will "sell." The integrity of our product will always come first. And we hope our customers will appreciate this commitment and come to expect the best from us.
